Having met during the first year of pharmacy school at the University of Pittsburgh, Alyssa and Tyler thought that the Oakland campus area was the perfect location for their engagement session. While career and life has taken them away to the beautiful state of North Carolina, Pittsburgh very much holds a special place in their hearts as this is where they initially connected and formed special life-long memories. We always (always!) enjoy photographing engagement sessions in locations that are not only full of great light and loaded with interesting architecture but, most importantly, are meaningful to our couples. Places where you spent time or enjoyed together or a place where the beginnings of your life as a couple first began. Not only will your photographs be beautiful but we promise that they will have a deeper meaning to you in the years to come.
We had a great time wandering the Oakland area, going between the Cathedral of Learning, Heinz Memorial Chapel and the Mellon Institute and all the awesome green spaces in between. Since that first year in school, Alyssa and Tyler have been inseparable and are very excited to take their first steps in life as a married couple the summer of 2017 — we can’t wait to photograph their day at The Chadwick in the Pittsburgh suburb of Wexford!
